Graduation

Hey everyone!!

WOW! I have not updated in soooo long! Very sorry! School and other activities were keeping me extremely busy but isn’t that everyone’s excuse? :) Anyways, I recently graduated on the 15th and it feels so weird! I mean, I have absolutely no homework! Crazy! And how can May be almost over??

My future plans are hopefully going to college but which one I’m uncertain about. If you are reading, I would really appreciate your prayers for God’s guidance in choosing the right one and doing His will. I’m thinking about Northern State University in SD but I’m not 100% sure. I would hopefully pursue graphic design, music, and French, but who knows, things change all the time!

Thanks for reading, I really apologize about my failure to update! :D

Stay tuned for future posts about great books, music, movies, and life!!

Hello! I am so sorry I have not posted in a while. I just finished finals this week so school has really kept me busy.  A few weeks ago, our family went to pick out a Christmas tree. It’s been a tradition we’ve done for a long time. One of our favorite parts about picking up our tree is that we get to have hot apple cider! :)

Which one do we get???

Which one do we get???

Sissies!

Sissies!

Maddy with her cider... yum!

Three cheers for the tree!

Cash had fun too... in his sweater?

Ready to go

May God bless your Christmas! Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

What’s on Your Ipod?

Regina Spektor!

dscn2612

I LOVE listening to music! I sometimes get on these music streaks where I will only listen to one particular artist or band for a few weeks or more. I know, it seems strange, but once I get a song stuck in my head, I want to hear it over and over. And although it doesn’t bug me, because I’m in this ‘mood’, it does irritate my sisters a bit. :)

But anyways, right now, I am in a Regina Spektor mood. I love her melodies and how musical the songs are. There is not one boring part in most of her songs.  Take her song, “Us” for example. Her voice is beautiful and she has great control over how she uses it. I wish I could sing like that! This song is stuck in my head and I can hear her voice floating and echoing in my mind.

Quick bio:

Name: Regina Spektor

Born: February 18,1980 in Russia

She was born into a Jewish family; both parents were musicians

Wrote her first a cappella song when she was about 16

Wrote her first song for voice and piano when she was 18

She has wrote about 700 songs, but most are not written down

Her song, “The Call” was used in the The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Enjoy!

Welcome!

Hello,

So this is my first blog and right now it is very difficult adjusting to the system and learning how everything works. Please bear with me as I learn the art of blogging :) and as I refine my blog.

My main theme in this blog is pretty much about everything. The name of my blog comes from a continuing theme that has been happening in my life… God’s faithfulness. He has been so faithful to me and continues to show how faithful He is every day through different things. I looked for another name for faithfulness and found ‘fidelity’. Since God has been faithful to me, I want to be faithful to Him in my life. I also found that fidelity means constancy so I thought, “Hey, what about constant (or continual) fidelity(or faithfulness)?!” And so the name stuck. I am really excited about this blog and I look forward to connecting with other bloggers and friends. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.
